I just ordered this vinyl on the internet the other day and I wanted to say its a quality tune. I dont really know if its old or not, but I searched and found nothing. Is this the "New oliver lieb tune" that has been getting alot of play from oakenfold?
Either way, check it out!
A. Original Mix
B. Venus Remix
8/10 with a great housey feel and awesome riff.

Fontana is an old track but not sure if it's this vinyl since it doesn't mention anything about the original mix...
"Venus/Fontana Remixes":
12": 1995 DE (Superstition 2044)
10:04 Fontana (Processes Remix) [A1]
08:10 Hidden Sun Of Venus (Oliver Lieb Remix) [B1]

| Its a great track from '95 yes but there is no Venus Remix of Fontana.. that's just Oliver Lieb's own remix of The Hidden Sun Of Venus (of which i prefer the original ambient version), just a bit confusingly retitled. Not sure if the "Original Mix" on the vinyl is the original mix of Fontana.. could be, as its been released at least on the album Rendezvous In Outer Space, mixed on CD and unmixed on 12" version... I dunno for sure. I prefer Der Process' Processed Remix of Fontana instead of Original anyway. Just a bit smoother and proggier or how would i say.. |

Another noteworthy thing on Oliver Lieb:
Taken from Superstition Records
| quote: |
Soon, Oliver Lieb's famous project L.S.G. will show up with a brand new and sophisticated mix of the outstanding and triumphant single "Fragile", originally released on L.S.G.'s first release "L.S.G.", back in 1993. We know this one wasn't available for quite a long time, but now you got the chance agian. You will find a new mix by L.S.G. himself, plus the rare '93 12" mix on this hot vinyl. Also, this 12" is the forerunner for the upcoming "Best of L.S.G." album, to be released begining of 2004. Keep your ears and eyes open for this! |
This should be nice. Oliver Lieb is back! |
