I went to a Best Buy this August that played Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors (Junkie XL Remix). Found that very interesting...

I heard Satoshi's remix of Delirium's 'After All' in the local McDonalds about a month and a half ago, that was wierd.

That's the most commercial sounding thing of his that I've ever heard. It's still not bad, but it's nothing compared to most of his other productions/remixes.

I feel very strongly for mainstream play. I mean this is how I look at the whole picture:

There's thousands of people crying about record labels going under because they aren't making enough money. Partially due to MP3 downloads, and partially due to people not owning turntables. But a lot of these people who cry all the time are the people who think trance, and all other EDM should stay "underground." Now, if it stays underground, the audience it will appeal to would be tiny. If brought out to mainstream there would be a greater audience, therefore more record sales.

I just think that if something goes mainstream, it doesn't change the sound of the music. If all the music we listen to in here was played on US radio all the time, it wouldn't change the way the music is heard. It would just increase the audience. Which I think is a valuable thing to this industry.

Just my thoughts,

i think all elctronic music should stay underground.i mean, some of the people that go 2 these shows....come on now.the whole scene has changed.alot of the music is getting really watered down.and people r going 4 the wrong reasons.dont get me wrong..im gonna rave 4ever,but,the alot of the scene is now.the whole vibe is gone, its so ugly.there use 2 b mad love everywhere, but now all i c is people hating and being rude.theres anger where it shouldnt b.i dont know,i dont know how 2 fix things......
