ATTN:UPDATED Ferry dinner TA meet up 9 november 2003

Greetings all
I just recieved an email confirmation form Lia Colayco-Corsten his wife that Ferry will be able to do a Fl TA dinner meetup. As you recall when he was down here in Miami @ space 34 30 Aug 2003 he was not able to make it to one, because of his flight schedule. So when I spoke to him later that night in the DJ booth he promised on his next visit he would attend one. Well kids the time has arrived and the man has kept his word. :eyes: :eyes: good on ya Ferry.
Well here is the deal, we need to make this meet some where were it is not to formal yet not to layed back IE; a crappy spot. In addition, a place where anyone underage can attend cause this is event is for all the FL TA's.
So, I am asking for a bit of assistance from the Orlando crew to give some suggestions of a proper place. I am a bit familiar with the area, but I have not lived there for six months now so I need help. I do not mind staying in the downtown area, and it would probably be ideal to stay there.
please make sure it is not to formal,it is spacious so we can move around cause it would make for some getting to know each other,and has a bar, cause Ferry can drink. I know because my last time chillin with him we drank like hell.
Okay now the kicker....
I have a deadline of Tuesday set by Lia herself. We must all decide on a place that would be the best. I would like to have this decided by noon tomorrow.Sorry for the short notice I have had a lot on my plate.
also dinner meet up time will be @ 8:45 PM

im at work now, but ill cal you or aim you tonight and well figure stuff out. gville is 1.5 hrs from orlando, but ive been there enough i can prolly help. plus ive got a AAA book with restaurants numbers in it. downtown disney isnt terribly expensive for a meetup, and i know there is a big fridays by universal.. but let me get a look at my AAA book... any idea how many ppl will be going???

Well, I'd have to suggest my favorite place out that way, Bahama Breeze, they have some damn good drinks.

I only know of one Bahama Breeze which is on North Semoran Blvd (sr436) which is NOWHERE near HOB... so if there's one I don't know about that's closer then N/M... but if it IS the one Im thinking of its utterly and completely WAY too far so scratch that.
.. I don't even know what restaurants are down that way. Just trying to consider parking, and the whole process cuz anything down there by Disney is more complicated.
I don't know exactly where it is.. but I think the FRIDAY'S idea was good. That would be a chill place... AND there is a bar. |
