Max Graham - Airtight Question???
View this Thread in Original format

If anyone has listened to Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Pres. Another World, they have heard song #7 on there which is labeled Max Graham -Airtight. I've heard the whole 10:50 original version and it doesn't have the intro Oakey has on his compilation. I think the song he perhaps mixed in before it is a great song, especially when it says, "Are you going to see Oakenfold..."(and I know that was added in by Oakey) Anyone have a clue what this song is, or is it just an unreleased version of Airtight?

peace.

Is it LSG - Into Deep?

I think there was some mistake done on cutting the tracks together, as I was unhappy with the way some of the tracks were cut, so I got my hands on the MP3s and did it my way. BTW, with the regards to the above thread, I think it's just a part of the track or whatever .... or the previous track got overlapped into the Airtight track ... Some DJs like to mix/cut tracks the way they see fit. Sounds kinda cool, but that makes the track quite long.

Well, I just d/l Into Deep and it doesn't sound like it at all. But from what I understand there is a club mix of this as well, so it might as well be that.

The thing is, when listening to this CD, #5 Ubik comes on and when it goes to song #6 Into Deep, its still the same song --Ubik. I always wondered about that as well. This has been a big mystery for a while. No one knows the clear answer to this. THat beginning of Airtight it an amazing part of the song. His mixing was so spot on, I honestly can't tell if he's mixing in another song or its just one big one.

Thanks for the replies so far!:D

The little vocal thing is added on in the mix comp.

I've got the 12" its an awsome song. on the other side there is Yaletown, another great song

theres the discogs info.

the begining of the song in the oakey mix has some other track layered on top. I'm assuming it is the last song in the mix comp before Airtight. the begining of Airtight is jsut a very basic beat which slowly builds to that huge massive break down.

in the track in hte perfecto presents, airtight doesn't play by itself until about 5:00 into the song.

**edit
ahhh you were looking for the first song at the begining of the track.
i dunno what that song is. i looked up perfecto presents on discogs

and apparently its Rabbit in the Moon's mix of Bullet in the gun
never heard that mix of that song (i hate the original Bullet in the Gun, but Rabbit in the Moon are gods so the remix has to be good :p)

I just heard the original the other day on Tiesto's In search of Sunrise Vol II, it wasn't until I heard it by itself did I appreciate how wonderful this track is. It almost sounds like the name, when that popping sound occurs. If there was ever a sound that defined trance down and dirty - straight up no games trance it's AIRTIGHT
Max Graham is a genius!!!

if i remember correctly, the voiceover of "Are you going to see Oakenfold..." was just done explicitly for that CD. It's not a special version of Airtight, or any other track.

I was actually referring to the whole first 4 minutes of that track. Its not on the vinyl nor any other cd compilation.
