Anyone who played it?
Any Comments on it?

I think it is very good, a lot of Combinations

But they are hard to learn!

I hear this game is alot better then 2003.. I also hear the players without the ball move into open space so you can send them the ball... i cant wait to play it.

I had the full PC version (not the german beta), since the 28th of this month and its amazing, it kills other Fifa's easily in every aspect, and finally it annahilates PES 3.
Yes there are few bugs here and there, but what game doesnt have bugs ?
The gameplay, graphics & atmosphere are incredible, you feel like you are actually in the game.

You can find some pics I took here --->

You have to practice man, thats all I can tell ya hehe.
I recommend you play with a PS2 controller so you can take advantage of the freestyle and the speal skills.

What system did you get it for? I'm thinking about getting it for my Gamecube...for easier multiplayer fun (2 vs 2). PS2 has online functions and PC is the best in graphics..which version do you have?

I have the PS2 version because of the online play but I didn't play it yet because of SSX 3!! :D:D

i haven't played a fifa game since fifa 98.. but fifa 2004 is SOOO AWESOME... controls are kinda hard to learn, and it took me a lot of practice to play. navigating menus is GOD-AWFUL though... someone at EA should be fired, hahaha... the menus are all buggy as hell... and the career mode is kinda buggy too... maybe its just me though. i hope the patch fixes everything.

the soundtrack is pretty good. its got kooky tracks from all over the world. in terms of trance/electronic, its got pvd, tiesto, underworld and timo maas. got some breaks in there too.. good stuff.

Fifa 2004 played best with PS2 controller, so I bought PS2 to PC adapter, and the PS2 controller works fantastic with my PC and every game I use it for :)
Fifa 2004 is pure ownage tho, Im well into like 20th game this season with Arsenal, the AI is great, the atmosphere is great, gameplay is amazing and Im still learning all the tricks, but I managed to master the freekicks :tongue3
I played against Chelease in Satamford Bridge and I was leading 2-0 till the 80th minute and the game ended 3-3, it was sooooo exciting
:stongue:

And I DO agree, the whole interfance is nasty looking, I cant believe that even thought about releasing it like this, I hope someone will come out soon with a modified version.
I hate scrolling 100 times just to see the tables and , in gayness.

ok i just bought the game for PS2 but i didn't try it yet :whip:

meanwhile i played the PC version , i have 3 major complains :
1-the goalies suck (they should be smarter)
2-the acceleration system sucks (you can't do a big run anymore)
3-the menus are aweful , terrible terrible

other than that , great in game :D

a question , is it possible to play online without paying (let's ur friend hosts a game and u connect to his adress and play against him) ?
djrouz
the graphics are a lot better - but for some reason i still like fifa 2003 better, dont' know why. it took me a while to get used to 2003 and again i'm having a hard time getting used to 2004 - but it definetly seems like a superior game.
