Surely I can't have been the only one that went?
Well he friggin nailed it in case you were wondering. Probably wasn't as good as his TT set earlier this year, but brilliant anyway. I'd been up since 5.00am that morning (had to work then was running my sister round all bloody afternoon :-/) so the fact that he had me dancing all the way through (well.... the first couple of hours at least, before I started falling asleep on my feet) shows just what a class act he is. The crowd were loving it just a bit too. :D
Played most of the tracks spotted by the Sydney peeps plus others like Prassay - Kruisin, the Sultan and Greek remix of Portishead - Roads and some insane remix of Blue Monday (need this one ID'd). Had to leave during the encore cos I was so tired (so I wasn't there at the end) but am I right in saying the set didn't last the full 4 hours? Anyone know why?
Oh well. Good night anyway. Bring him back soon. :D |

I WENT!!!
Seaman utterly owned me... I loved it. Quite honestly, I thought it was the best party I've been to all year crowd-wise... super-super friendly peeps there. Maybe not *quite* as good as his TT set, but it was ever so close.
Fark. What a night :D He played the track from James Holden's JJJ mixup in October (track no. 5 in the Holden set). WTF IS IT?!? It put me into a gurning puddle on the floor. |
