Just seen it.
What'd u think?
I didn't like the ending after reading an article refering to "plato's cave" as the ending.
Ripped off, really enjoyed it, just not how it ended. It ended exactly how it was seen (and that's NOT a spoiler!).
Please don't spoil it 4 others ;)

Mate, I can't even think of anything cryptic to say, let alone something that could be read as a spoiler. Still "taking it in" Reading and Researching certain scenes ;)

| Saw the triple last night, was well worth it to see the first one in the theatres again as there are small details that the dvd doesn't quite do justice to. Felt a bit unfulfilled by it personally, but liked all the tie-ins with the animatrix. It's all up a pretty good set, and I'd get it on DVD once the mega, super, special, we added all the extra cheese and pepperoni you asked for, directors cut, box set version comes out. |

Well personally it was a bit of a let down for me.... the fight scenes were top shelf, the plot and like that i didnt mind, but it just kept droning on!! I was bored out of my brain in parts!!!
Perhaps its cause i sat through the trilogy but for me it just wasnt what i was after... good on the wachowski brothers for creating something this good (production wise its great) and good on em for raking in the cash (which they will) lets hope they reinvest it wisely into something new now.... Bring on a movie to equal the Matrix 1!

only saw about 1.5 hours worth ( i work at the movies) and from what i saw i was impressed with the sheer massiveness and epic proportions of the world they created, but felt it was let down by a rather cheesy and annoyingly open ending.
On a side note, it was ing funny to see about 500+ people all arriving with their big trench coats and bottles of 2ltr cokes :). I thought i was at a star wars convention for a second there... |

| What you mean how neo saves zion with the help of crazy clowns coming from a purple mini coupe. Or where trinity and morpheus get into some pretty spectacular zero g inspired sexual fantasies. Or what about how the oracle gets smith stoned on her special brand of 'cookies'. Or that bit where smith and smith are dicussing which tie goes best with the suit, but can't decide who gets which one. |

What can i say?
I know a movie is gunna be bad when i start looking at the little green exit sign under the screen. And that's where i kept looking thoughout most of the movie.
Basically I thought it was crap.
The directors should have just stopped at the first movie (the best one)..
Even the special effects..the main drawcard for the movie...were so cheesy!!...Those STUPID aliens/ripley loader machine ripp offs..ughh!
Don't expect anything to be answered at all, if that's what you were expecting. Though expect more gobbledigook dialogue seemingly written by some angst ridden teenager locked away in their dark little room on their computer.
It just goes on and on and on and on...and ends up being as pointless as 'reloaded'.
Some good bits...Trinity and her "beautiful" line near the end of the film. And Jada Pinkets drive through the tunnels and yeh i'm sorry but that's all i found was any good out of the whole movie.
I'm sure a lot of the hardcore fans will like it..but deep down know it was crap.
You will either feel dissapointment or indifference.
And now that i think of it, that bit with Jada was pretty dumb as you could tell she was 'acting' (badly), so i guess it basicially is just Trinity's bit at the end..which was very moving, though only goes for about 7 seconds.
OH WELL!
They showed a Lord of the Rings preview at the beginning though which looks INCREDIBLE...Go see it just for that! |

I didn't think I'd be able to get tickets for it on opening day but I did. It was better than Reloaded, but slow at times. However the end fight makes up for it. Well, for me it did. The opening club fight scene was cool & the best since the first movie. The machine warriors vs Sentinel fight was cool & I was almost about to cheer when the ship piloted by Morpheus & Niobe EMPed them all. :haha: It was awesome & the CG shots were wonderful. It was better than the freeway scene in Reloaded. An awesome fight it was at the end between Neo & Smith. Like the Oracle said, both were opposites & both died. My favourite scene was the slow-mo shot of Neo punching Smith's face in the rain. I did not like the ending, but it did wrap up the main plot lines.
