the bit when they get to the nightclub was a bit mad, the weapons check in point.
Deffo felt the heart of those soldiers man, defending to the end at zion against the machines |

| The second film ruined The Matrix. The first one was classic – then they just went over the top and created a steaming pile. I don’t hold my hopes. |

At first I was disappointed, as you can tell from the other posts that I made, but the more I think about it, I guess it's kinda OK. Someone pointed out to me that where Reloaded had a lot of philosophy within the dialogue, Revolutions had a lot of philosophy (or biblical references) in the visuals.
It's kinda good that they left some questions unanswered, that way people can interpret the film in their own way. A bit like Donni Darko.
I'll definately be getting the trilogy!

so will i, it will probably be some silly price liek £75 though :whip:
i can imagine the LOTR trilogy on DVD being a humongous 10 Disc special edition thing costing 150 quid with 4 DVD's full of extras. Think of the fun of watching 4 days worth of director commentaries  |

i understand sum people were disapointed by the 2nd and 3rd films, but what do u expect after the 1st one was such a masterpiece. The latter films were never gonna match the style and power of the matrix. (The only films i can think with better sequels are Alien/Die hard)
i rated the 2nd film the worst out of the trilogy, because it is brutally cheesy in parts. (the tribal scene where neo is shagging trinity). however the 40-odd minute highway chase scene is spectacular. The OTT philosophy ruins the 2nd one slightly.
The 3rd film, i think does the series proud. The action is spectacular. the special effects in the machine- human war are proper good, and Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith) puts in another brilliant performance. The neo - smith battle is excellent. Okay by the third film , the story does lack structure, but who cares, the wachowski bros, dont. Theve made an awful lot of money and revolutionised the movie industry. The only worrying thing to me is if they try and cash in more by making another sequel..... 'Its inevitable' |

Possibly, but I quite liked all of the philosophy in the second one, it left me thinking for weeks afterwards about how all the pieces fitted together. So I was kinda hoping that the third one would have the same amount of philosophy, but give the answers as well. Didn't really happen to the extent that I would've liked though.

Went to see it today, thought it was pretty good... not as good as the first one, but still worth watching
I hope that's the final one, to be honest if they make more than three they'll probably start to suck |
