agreed his remix of floor control is mind blowing.
personally i dont like F*ck private ryan that much. its got an anoyying vocal. possibly it will sound good in a club but i havent heard it there yet.
as for air guitar, i love it. 9/10 absolutely driving sound to it |

That's what I thought but I did a search and nothing came up. So I browsed in the "Forthcoming" section and there it was. I saw it 4 days ago in the "new release" section but I was waiting for Castaneda - Floor Control to come out so I could grab both of them. I'm pretty bitter about this. |

| Does anyone know if that sample in Air Guitar is from another track? I know i have heard something very similar before, and i'm thinking it might be from another Askew production, but i can't quite put my finger on it and its driving me crazy. |

There's an FX-type sample in there which happens early on (during bars 29-32) and is then repeated periodically throughout the track. This has been used in a fair number of tracks and is from an Oliver Lieb sample CD. John's also used several other samples from this CD in 'Air Guitar'.
Re. 'Air Guitar' itself, it's damn good - 'F**k Private Ryan...' less so. Will have to go some way to beat that mix of 'Floor Control' though: absolutely f**king blinding. |
