Same problems with this one as in Infinity. Never underestimate resonance:) It emphasizes the high frequencies and gives your lead a more impaling feeling, right now the synth is dull.

Otherwise very nice, maybe a little too similar to Infinity in your choice of sounds, but thats just an opinion. Some good stuff going on in the intro.

Here is a good tip...

Never zip mp3's as your file is corrupt.

Hi there...

Man when the track started playing i really thought it was a gouryella track or something until the bass kicked in, the percussion really remindes me of them.

The bass sound just fine when its played with the rest of the track but when it played along side with the percussion at 0:15, it doesnt sound right.

I love the way you play with thoes strings around 1:45... great melody there.

3:00 - the break down comes in great, this synth could use some work but the melody is fine!

Love this drumroll that comes in there, great vocals also.
Love the enregy when the whole thing kicks in together, it sounds pretty good.
3:40, the strings at the background really add even more energy to it.
Great work there.

4:20 the switch here is to sudden, and the bass sound dosent sound right again.

Then the whole thing gets a bit repetitive, it would be better if you try shorten the track abit.

Over all the track is really great man, the best iv heard from you yet.

:happy2:

Now that I have sorted out the download and listened to your track I am pleased to say it is sheer class.

I love the chords you use in there and the funky little sample at the start.

Great Job. :D

Keep working on that bass too... :tongue2

are a little plain. A slow phaser would fix that up. The guitar melody at 1:20 kicks ass - but it should be a little louder. The melody at 3:20 is awesome too. Your percussion and bass are real good too.

Am I going to add this to my playlist? Why or why not? As good as this song is, the melody is not distinct enough for my tastes. But none-the-less there are plenty of people who enjoy this more progressive style of trance. Good job in that aspect.

A follow up to why I'm not keeping this song - it's sound isn't original. To me, it sounds like another Tiesto or Sasha track.. for some this may be a good thing, but I for one am sick of that stereotypical trance sound you hear everywhere.
EternalMusic
Darrax: Thanks mate, i'll sure work on it ! :D

alanzo: is it progressive? :), i thought it was a more melodic tune... or maybe a combination of the both.. anyway cool you liked some parts of it. What is you'r taste then ;)?

alanzo
I like very distinct melodies and am against detuned saw chords - very much of a cliche. A good example of what I try to base my music off of would be either the cynic project (http://www.mp3.com/cynicproject) or Mangoo (http://mp3.com/mangoo)

I don't think this is very original either and pretty weak trance... isn't it just personal taste?

I thought this track was a bit different, a somewhat strange mixture. For the better I think though. Bassline and percs are in my opinion better than those you used in your other new track. Melodies are neat as well, though maybe not my kind of style.

Keep 'm coming ;)
