Here's a challenge for ya...

You'll pardon me if these two have been ID'd previously...
There are two songs that I've been trying to ID for about 3 years now, without much success, because (for reasons unknown to me) the real artist names and titles of the songs MUST be kept TOTALLY CONFIDENTIAL from the public! These aren't the JFK files here, so what's the big deal? ANYWAY, enough of this...
The first song is known as "The best goddamn rave song" and is 9 minutes and 48 seconds long. No more is known about the song because I haven't been able to find any other clues whatsoever about it. Great trance tune though. And no, I couldn't find a sample of it on a webpage, so if you've got a P2P program like WinMX, you can find it easily. If not, ask me and I'll get the file to you somehow.
The second song is incorrectly known to many as "Inspector gadget techno remix". How these people canNOT recognize the difference between the Inspector Gadget theme song and Grieg's "In the hall of the mountain king" is just beyond me. ANYWAY, many people have incorrectly labeled the artist as being the following:
DJ Mystik, DJ Mystic, DJ Inferior, DJ Inferno, DJ Epic.
and some of the more incredibly stupid guesses are:
Scooter, Moby, Happy 2B Hardcore chapter 1
The only two things I CAN tell you about the song is:
(1) It is a HARDCORE song, NOT a HAPPY HARDCORE song. I recently had guessed that it was done by Human Resource, but I was wrong.
(2) The beginning of this 3:42 track contains a sample from Prezioso's & Marvin's "Emergency 911" that goes like this:
THIS IS THE POLICE SPEAKING...THIS CLUB IS CLOSED...FOREVER!
Why no one (I've come in contact with) can give me the correct song title and artist for this song is incredible! How incredibly inept we are in this generation for holding onto the truth and remembering details! Thank god for www.discogs.com and some of the intelligent people who roam the tranceaddict forums!
Hopefully someone out there can help me, or give me enough clues to get out of the hole I've dug myself into.

much easier for us to ID your tracks is to cut out short samples of the tracks you're talking about. Cause I did find one match saying "best goddamn rave song" but it has a very long queue...
Just a suggestion though... |

I had read Swamper's thread about decoding MP3 samples, and I had originally decided NOT to include a sample since I naturally assumed that many people would know of the files that I had mentioned...unfortunately, I might be wrong...
SO here's an MP3 sample of the "inspector gadget techno mix"...it's only 30 seconds long though. If ya need another sample, just say so. |

Do not post samples in replies. Please make a new thread for each of the samples (one sample per thread).
I deleted the samples because they didn't work. PM me if you have any questions. :) |
