i need a new set of speakers to blast trance on.... i just shelled out $600 on a new pc, so i'm definitely looking to save money.
i can get these babies (5.1 surround, 70 watts, some other ) for $48 with shipping and delivery:

they seem to be getting decent reviews.
i'm not looking for anything amazing in particular, because at home i mostly use my stereo system:

220watts, shakes the walls at 20% volume
so what do you think about the logitechs, are they nice, or should i save my ears and find something else? |

| My roommate has those logitech and they sound pretty good, they're not the best, but for that price, if you don't want to spend much, theyre nice. |

| I'd recommend spending at least c-note with a subwoofer, especially if ur listening to trance. I've got a Boston Acoustic setup that I'm very happy with. |

| What is the difference between studio speakers, like the usual ones that you always see on peoples desk like the Rolands and M-audio's and such.... and between like lets ssay a 5.1 surround creative labs wireless speaker system for desktop... i am starting to use fruity loops and stuff... and i dont want to buy the creative labs type speaker set if i am going to end up buying studio speakers later on, is there a need for ne?.... whats the difference? |

bitch, you haven't got the woox and the 12 digital environment / equalizer presets... and does your stereo make the walls crack at 25% volume?? and does it have GOOD, clear sound? i have the best sound i've ever heard from a stereo system, honestly.
besides, i would never use the full 220wats...
but this is not a competition... a "my penis > your penis" competition...
:D:p |

| I'd go for the Klipsch ProMedia 5.1s (500-watt RMS). But they're gonna run you at least $300. I've got a set and they're excellent speakers...good for trance, techno & even D&B sounds great on them. Not only are they good music speakers, but they're great for DVDs as well. |

I got some of these bad boyz:
I've only got a sound blaster live platinum so I cant get 5.1 surround, only FourPoint surround, but thats good enough for me. Sound reasonable, well worth the 70-odd quid I paid for them. If you gotta 5.1 sound card (which I'm sure you do) then you could go for these:
5.1 Surround
FourPoint Surround

Computer speakers have space and convience advantages:
1. Small enough to fit on ur desktop.
2. The magnets are sheilded.
3. The amp and/or sub is integrated together.
4. plug directly into ur pc. |
