Just took my pc with me, as i had a break off from uni, and i have been canned with this stupid blaster worm, ever since, the one which keeps restarting windows every 5 seconds.
Ive searched on the subject, but havnt been able to stop the problem, help :( |

I had this a blaster worm about a month ago. The one I had came up with a window with a timer telling me my computer would be shut down in XX number of seconds by authority of some system32 file :conf: Your version maybye different, but it's still the same type of virus.
You need download the fixblast removal tool as DJ-Fuq says. If your computer won't give you enough time to download and run the program, you'll need to download it of someone elses computer with an internet connection, then save it to disk. The symmatec website has tips you can try to slow down the amount of time before the shutdown message appears. |
