Cool beginning.. but that panning saw thingy sounds terrible.. nice bass though.. try eqing your hi-hats to get them a little clearer..
The synth at 1:10 sounds very amateur.. take that sound out of the entire song and it would be much better.
Love the strings at 3:30.. very epic :) and then leading in with the trance arpeggio.. beautiful..
Don't really like when the kick comes in with it at 4:30 though.. that sound is a major trance cliche.. but that's just me...
Am I going to keep this song in my playlist? Why or why not?
No I don't think I will.. I love the symphonic feel the strings have.. but the sound at the beginning and at 4:30 kill it for me. Perhaps a more profound saw melody instead of the arpeggios would of been better. Keep up the good work though! |

Hey, the beginning is cool. Nice bassline, nice percussion work. The song seems a bit muddy though. Maybe some master eq could fix that up.
The strings are nice, but a little abrupt in their entry. The lead synth you use is okay. When it comes in from the breakdown at arond 4:30 or so, there is too much going on in the low frequencies and this takes away the room for the lead to breath. The melody's not bad. Keep working in it mate. It is good, but you can make it better.
