whats a public ftp???

| i know its a server that can hold stuff for you for a while but where do i find these public ftp servers and how do i upload to them? also how long do they generally keep these files for you? any help is appreciated. :D |

| yea usually a school ftp or like that... basically people find em then create an invisible folder and upload heaps of there and then tell people the address where they can download and upload stuff... most often pubs are deleted (like, the stuff you've uploaded) in 2-3 days because the host of the ftp see all this increase of bandwidth and has a look on the hard-drive yadiyada... where do you find em?... dont bother =).. just let people on RMF do that for ya :D:D:D:D:D:D |

| ask totalcarnage for a bit of space on his FTP for your mix... then if he says 'yes', upload it, then point everybody to tc's ftp for your mix! |

ah its ok....its not that big of a deal i just wanted to share my mix
but i don't want to trouble other people for it....besides i'm only an amateur you guys probably aren't losing out on much :D |

hehe that would be a huge turning point in my life if i make it big LOL :D....yeah right.....
yeah i'll hook you up....its no prob but its still impossible to find a copy...dang some guy got me all excited when he said he was hooking me up with it but later i found out it was a rip from scott bond's set. the worst thing is i have the rip myself LOL..... |

speaking of RMF, what's up with them?? they wrote on the forums they are changing a server.. that was last month and still there's no change..
do you know what happened there? |

| RMF was very usefull, but the new RMf I do'n't get it. Don't understand it and is not usefull anymore for me |

| They changed the whole site. There is now a database or something. I haven't fully checked it. I mean I don't know excatly how it works. |
