How old is that article? Is must have been written last summer... because I remember PVD came thru Philly on a Thursday... to a ty place. He sounds like a dick... I guess fame catches everyone.

PVD is amazing and even better for tellin it like it is, see if someone sucks hardcore, then people should say that that person sucks, or else we're gonna end up with more wack than good stuff, so i respect PVD alot more (not that i didn't have a ton of respect for him before) for lettin everyone know who he think sucks without giving a about what other person thinks.

I'd have to agree with the 'electronic dance music' title- because that's what it is. I mean, I believe people use the world Trance in describing music too much. I mean- there are too many different types of it that simply aren't 'trancey' - yet you gotta dance to it. I mean, i've been calling it trance/dance for a while now :P

Well, of course there's gonna be ty trance music. Not everything is worth listening too- and some stuff is too commercial.. but then again- those groups are just a running joke for the future group of fans to this genre (i.e. Vanilla Ice, NKOTB, etc)

I agree with you, but it's not so complicated - djs create music to listen @ home in headphones to enjoy the sound and music for the feet to dance @ the club;)

"u have to at least give credit that ATB doesnt sound like ATC or something of that"
ROFL
respect, that's definitely true.
maybe ATB had it coming, but he's definitely not the worst in the biz.

and i think we should still call pvd music "trance"

but i mean he SPINS trance 24-7, look at his playlists.
and for an angel? trance. movement? trance. the "untitled" ? most defintely trance.

perhaps not all his tracks, but enough (and w/ enough consistency) that we should call his music trance.
its not like he deserves a genre all his own based on production.
otherwise ferry corsten would too.
Palivar
love PvD, love ATB, love trance (or whatever you wanna call it)

peace

StereoPrincess
my boyfriend has a vinyl with both ATB on in and PvD remixing the same song. if he really didn't like him would he do that same song as him?? wtf.
Starfox
Paul has never Remixed ATB.
