Computer keeps stuttering during games. Can watch dvds perfectly ok, but as soon as i put a game on i get constant stuttering. Ive got a good system.
p4 2.4 ghz
512mb ram
radeon 9800 pro
Ive tried reinstalling items, defragmenting my hard drive, and nothing will get rid of the stuttering. |

| Yeah, update drivers and what do you have your Antialiasing & Ansiotropic filtering levels set to? They may be too high so check those. |

| make sure your temp memory isnt messed up, especially if its too high or low, if its windows managed set maximum to minimum, something like 512/512 |

| is your heatsink/fan making contact with the chip and do u have enough air circulation i nthere? heat is one of the main cause of issues. and also update windows and your drivers. u need more ram :D |

He doesn't need more RAM lol, though it'd be nice (I'm thinking of getting a GB too haha).
Maybe it's faulty hardware. |
