| im just curious if u guys listen to anything else besides trance. i'm like 90% about hard trance/breaks/jungle. the other 10% goes to some alternative like U2, Creed, Limp Bizkit...and also SOME hip hop...i'm very picky about rap. OUTKAST is all i gotta say. although i WAS disappointed with their last album. i also listen to people like enya sometimes and enigma and delerium. let's see what else? FREESTYLE...hell yea. i love freestyle. anyway be honest...i hate when people act like they've been listening to trance since they were born...if ya have been, that's cool. i've personally only been listening to it for like 2 years now. i was living in japan for two years and discovered it when i moved back to south Florida about 2 yrs ago. i knew immediately that i was hooked. i'd have to say that the first like techno/trance song that got me into all of it was KC "Escape" haha...old school. they were playing it all the time on the radio in miami. ok well i hope you guys don't bash me for starting this thread. i'm sure some of you are well rounded music lovers like me:) |

I listen to trance about 95% of the time.. I love DnB and Jungle..LTJ Bukem stuff.. :)
Also, I love electronic ambient music..I listen to it especially before I go to sleep..cause you can't sleep while listenning trance! :cool: |

| I listen to trance probably 98% of the time. When i go to bed, when i wake up...etc etc...Theres the odd day tho that i'll feel like listening to some more mellower tunes. Mostly on days where i want to think. :) |

im 100% addicted! tho i do vary alot in my trance, everything from live sets from pvd/tiesto to ayla. sometimes i like to sit in silence tho :rolleyes:

Well , most of the time IM tranced out, but I also listen to stuff by
Moby, Enigma, Enya, Savage Garden type of music, some Latin Rock like La Ley , and los prisioneros, some U2, maddonna, and some of that 80's, 90's romantic music .. hehehehe.. |

70% trance, i luv breakbeat and a good bit of progressive house aswell. but if i had to choose, i think its obvious what the winner is!!
i used to listen to a lot of hip-hop, which i still have my love for (coz it was my first major taste in music) but trance has taken over my life now.
no offense to anyone, but i cringe when i hear anything klike limp bizkit or blink 182 and e like that.... specially limp coz they tryin to bring hip-hop into rock (or whateva u wanna all it) and it just doesnt work, and they are at it anyway. he cant rap to save hias life... the only tune of theirs which is any good is all ntogether now.. which the lyrics were written by method man & rza from wu-tang, and the beat and stuff was made by DJ premier of gangstarr... nuff sed

i totally agree with you. i only really like maybe 2 or 3 songs from limp. the one from mission impossible was pretty tight...and i know what u mean about the rap with rock. that was only big cuz of wu-tang members...man i used to jam out hard to wu tang. i love their style...like outkast. but anyway, i feel the same way u do...rap is what got me like REALLY into music....but now i'm all about the breakbeat:) |
