Last year was a mess. The late voting and late polls are what made it take so long. So no more polls. Its a shame nobody thought to do it like this last year.

Shouldn't there also be a pre-vote thread where people can debate what were the best tracks of the year? Putting out a thread like this where people can instantly vote seems skewed towards tracks that are more recent in memory. 2003 goes back some time.
And where are the Vandit-whores? Doesn't Nothing But You count? Or does it lose out on both 2002 and 2003 because it fell between years? The same thing happened to POS - Remember (Summer Sun). |
I also happen to have hang ups as to the format of the voting (the previous pages influencing the later votes) but that is highly irrelevant. Tools are.. tools, doesn't make much of a difference whether or not dj sammy is techno or not:p  :p  couldn't help myself, trancEaddict god please forgive me.
I think perhaps a list of "talked about" 2003 tunes would be useful in refreshing individuals memory as to gems they may have forgotten for various reasons. By no means should it be required viewing or limiting though. I think it would assist in providing more accurate results though as electronic music tends to be cannibalistic (the new tends to overshadow the old more or less) as far as listening habits go (speaking from own experience). |

active sight is set for the end of this year, and if i'm not mistaken, liveset rips or samples of unreleased tunes were valid. |
