I don't know man....the Release is London sucks big time. Have you been in there? It's a hole in the wall. My friend loves it because they have these 50 dollar house mystery packs.:)
But I asked him if they were getting any copies of Traffic in and the one guy said, and I quote, "What...that Tiesto trance . Nah man, we don't carry that cheeseball crap. Trance is over and done with."

yeah no ....London (or maybe Canada as a whole) seems to think trance doesn't exist. All the guy in Release would talk about is progressive house, hard house and jungle and that's mostly what they sell, along with breaks and D & B. He looked at me as if I were an idiot when I asked about Trance. I wish Tiesto would go in there and set that fag straight.
House section = over 300 Records, easy
Trance section = Count em.....7, yep...7.
So, London Release Records = not worth my time. I believe I said that on my way out last month.:) :D |

Exactly....I just order them off Dancegrooves if i really have to. There's also Dr Disc in London, in all its unorganised glory.
But the point is...Release Records is supposed to be the leading EDM outlet in Ontario..."the place to go for records" so to speak. To have 7 records in the trance section is pretty ridiculous. If any of you guys are ever in London, check it out and I think you'll agree with me that the guys in there and the store, overall, isn't worth your time. |

no-one has mentioned yet the fact tiesto has played out release record releases in ibiza this season... it seems to me thats the biggest reason for him to like the label / hence get a t-shirt as well -
