I've learned alot on TV stations like History Channel, TLC, and Discovery.

i doubt ill watch this as soon as its shown, as MTV has the nasty habit of repeating every show, every day so that no one in the US will miss it. but im sure ill see it.

i fathom that its going to say more about getting Ed up and falling into K holes than anything about our 'scene' or the music specifically.

I'm sure it will suck for all of you like the True Life episodes that contained hobbies I'm knowledgeable about sucked for me... the one about gamers was completely lame. Gamers go to LAN parties and play first-person shooters and real-time strategy games. It's a boatload of fun if you like games.

Instead they showed some loser with his busted wife playing pocket pool or whatever golf game that was.

The episode about street racing was interesting if you're interested in the low-end entry-level stuff and was educational for me about that end of things, but real street racing is about Supras, Mustangs, Vipers, S4s, M3s, turbo'd/supercharged $30k cars like IS300s and 350Zs, and exotics that their rich owners flaunt. Not fifteen-year-old Hondas and Nissans. Come on.

So judging by what a joke those episodes were I can't say my hopes are high for this episode either. :nervous:

After just seeing a commercial for this, I am convinced that it will do nothing more than reinforce all the stereotypes associated w/ EDM.

"Addicts out of control"

Sigh, if I watch it, I'm sure it will piss me off!! :whip:

good man

i wonder if they'll talk about E, which they most likely will, and what would their view be... cuz club / raver / techno = immediate stereotype of druggies, as all of you know....

I dunno, in their preview they say something like "music obsessed people who crave for more, but in the end is this lifestyle heaven or is it hell?" LoL, kinda cheesy but I'm very interested in seeing how the scene is portrayed. From that preview it sounds like they're going to focus on the music & culture...but I'm sure E will come in to play sometime during the show.

Looking foward to hearing Darude, DJ Sammy, and all those other f*ckers :p

Seriouslly...as much as I want this to be a good show, it's most likely gonna be sh!t.
