I just received (via MSN) Misstress Barbara @ SONAR, June 2003 and am totally in love with it. I highly recommend that you download it! Or catch me on MSN and I'll send it to ya.

Speaking of Street Carnival, I don't particularly like it anymore either. However, it's fantastic only when Barbara plays it because I ID'd that track for her at Aria. (Christian Smith was playing it, and she didn't know what it was.)
I believe she even told DJ Mag it's her track of the year.

Sooooo disappointed with Cave's new demo mix!
It has his style, but it's just totally lacking in the "meat" that the first one had (mainly tribal vocals and musical fragments).
Having said that, it's not a bad mix at all, I just expected the best of the best from Cave, I still listen to his earlier mix all the time. Some of it is actually sort of tech-trancy... people here might like it. |

I agree aaron. I had a listen this morning and was mega unimpressed.
A few good tracks don't make up for the rest of it. |
