I think Faithless - Insomnia and Underworld - Born Slippy were the first dance tracks I really loved
I never really got into trance heavily until mid 1999, I used to buy a lot of compliations but it wasn't until I started clubbing that I got as obsessed as I am now!
I think Bedrock - Heaven Scent was a real big one for me (unsurpisingly!) |

Officially? I'd say:
4 Voice - Eternal Spirit [Northern Mix]
From the Trancemaster 4 comp, circa 1992.
There were things before that like Age of Love's "Age of Love", Moby's "Go", Aphex Twin stuff, FSOL "Papua New Guinea", and a ton of old ambient techno that sorta evolved into what we now know as trance, but I never really thought about as trance until a bit later (mid to late 1993 maybe). It wasn't until Hardfloor and the Hardhouse crew took the world by storm with their hardtrance that I really thought about trance as a genre (it was all just techno to me until then). |

I think for me it was Faithless - Insomnia then i started to get into it but what really did it was when i came to Mallorca, cant get away from it here !!
