I'm planning on going to the LoveParde 2001 (in Berlin of course). I just need to figure out how to get there and where to spend the night. If anyone has ever been there, please tell me what the best options are. For now i think that we'll just take a few cars and drive to Berlin and sleep in the cars.
Anyone else planning on going to the LoveParade? |

I'm trying to go this year... never bin to there.
but then i'll won't go by car. but by motorcycle.
I spoke to someone who was there in 2000. and he said there was a traffic jam in berlin. and 60 km before that. al the way to berlin!!!!!
so when i go, i'll go by motorcycle. not by car.
but when you go with a car. you can sleep in it.
u can't do it with a motorcycle... :)
car = oke you can sleep in it but a traffic jam
motor cycle = no traffic jam, but no place to sleep.
this is what i have heard. I can't confirm this, about that traffic jam of 60km.
can anybody confirm this. because wanna know to.... |

Of course you can be very cool in saying that you won't sleep, but the drive back takes us about 9 hours I think. I don't want to end my life against a tree on the side of the road, cuz I was stupid enough not to go to sleep after hours of partying.

i think best thing u could do is go by train...
why??
1. u can sit/walk/sleep anything
2. u dont have to drive
3. no trafficjam
4. u have a place to sleep
but then again, it might be pretty expensive...
and ive never been to the LP either, i ALWAYS planned smth on the same day...
when is it gonna be anywayz?? |

If I'm not mistaken it's on the 14th of July.
And going by train might be the best idea. I've heard that travelling by train is relatively cheap in Germany. I live near the German border, so I can just step on the train in Germany. It might save me a few bucks.
