Who remembers this from last Rainbow Serpent? Apparently it’s a fighting dance called Capoeira. To me, I just thought it was amazing kun-fu kinda fighting stuff – it all looked so very surreal!!!!!!!!
Very much hope they’re back for next year. :D :D (They were hot!!!!!!!) ((And man, it was so so surreal!!!!!!!!!)) |

Yea that's capoeira.. it's a form of martial arts developed by slaves in Africa or Brazil.. can't remember where exactly. Started as actual fighting and developed into a type of dance.. pretty cool stuff.
and corrie don't mind escee. As long as it's dance related and someone here benefits it's ok. |

I _really_ recommend coming up Friday (or before!) if you can (like me!) - it's really so much nicer to wake up there fresh for Skatterday... :)
