Playing midi files in FL??

(its a silly question)
I can get the file to load ok but when i try and play it there is no sound??
cant figure out why i cant hear the sound :conf:
any help??

| a midi doesn't contain any sound so you gotta put sound on it yourself |

oh ok thanx for the info... but when played through WMP there is sound:conf: :conf:
im just gettin to know what all the buttons do in FL so dont flame too much :D |

| go to options and check the midi tab, i cant remember what i did to make it work, but its there somewhere |

Here's one way of getting them work:
1. Select an instrument or a soft synth and open a new channel for it.
2. Click righ mouse button on the selected channel and choose Piano roll.
3. Click the small piano icon and choose 'import midi file' from File options
and there you go... |
