Removing vocals from MP3's ??

Is it possible to remove vocals from MP3's ?? and if so how ?
This is very importat so please answer, thx!

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: depends on the track. If it's a short vocal you can physically cut it from the track, and splice the track back up with other parts from it.

Or, you can simply re-make the entire track with as many of the original samples as you can sucessfully yank from it.

I heard about a program called acid, he said you could filter the sample's out of a track...i told him that it was impossible. I havent checked the program yet, but I think it is wasted space.

Acid doesnt do that.
