What do they call this sexy beast ? (cd player, unknown)

yeah I can only describe the beast, I saw it I believe in an interview with Tiesto, he had one in his studio. Never seen anything like that, but then again I don't use CD's, but I'm just very curious about it. So it was a top loading CD player. Single. And on top of it was a BIG wheel, not your usual wheel, but a really big one like 4 cm high, and a big rubber wheel on it .. I know it's a very vague description, but I don't think I've seen any CD player yet with that rubber ring on it. The ring had small circular texture on it for a grip (so half circles cut out of it, so you have good grip ..).

Hope somebody can tell me, I'm googling myself to hell atm :D:whip:

No I don't think that's it, I mean take that rubber rim on the CDJ, take that height, and multiply it by three, and that's about how huge that thing was... Very strange
VIO
i could only guess it was a denon if it wasn't a pioneer. i can't imagine what other brand he would use besides those. well the new tech cd player but that looks like a turntable platter.

Ye, but it would still be a possibility, big-name DJ's do sometimes get products before they're officially released

just because the product hasn't been sent to production doesn't mean they haven't built and distributed the machine for testing. who better to send your machine to for testing then the top djs in the world?
