ELT - Rescue Me (Dumonde Remix) is probably their best work. Too bad the full version never got a release.
I'm still really high on the new Symsonic remix as well. |

Definantly off the hook, older, but sweet, it's what got me listening to more and more. The last time I saw Dumonde play, they didint play it. I was very dissapointed ;\ |

Dumonde (n.) - An Electronica group that produces cheese of the anthem trance variety (with heavy emphasis on computer sounding synths). Often littered with inane lyrics
synonyms: poster boy for "grander!", cheese
i kind of like their remix of saxuality (i think that is the name of the track).:D |

i think it might be worthwhile to note that dumonde also records under the alias dj jam x and de leon - usually for their more edgy experimental tracks. some jam x and de leon tracks have the dumonde flavor but can almost be put in its own category.
dumonde - see the light was the one that got me listening to trance back in 99, and since then i have never gotten sick of their style or cheese as some say :whip:. id categorize them in the hard, melodic, uplifting and sometimes outright beautiful trance.. ill list some songs that imho fit said desc:
vincent stormfield - sweet harmony (dumonde vocal)
william hawk - return to innocence (dumonde mix)
jurgen vries - the theme (dumonde mix)
m.u.t.e. - missed beat (dumonde mix)
angelic - cant keep me silent (dumonde mix)
soulmate - moments of silence (dumonde mix)
dj jam x and de leon - mind made up (orig)
oh and they just came out with another alias, "no faces" and they just released "no time no space". |

| Dumonde is hard trance. Their unique style is damn hard if you compare it with other producers. Dumonde - Human (Dave 202 & Phil Green Remix) and Marc Aurel - Running (Dumonde Remix) (even though the first track is not an orginal mix but is just better than the original). |

Is it just me or do I see three threads about my favourite dj's around here?
What did they do to deserve this sudden attention on TA? Nobody actually cares about DuMonde here, except me. And in the end the main point will be this: 'DuMonde WAS good, when they made 'Never Look Back''. |
