Just recently i moved across country from Georgia to New Mexico. I've been on my share of airplanes and i always bring my own headphones so i can listen to that soothing easy moods type stuff(it helps me sleep). Well on this particular flight i tuned to the second or third station and i was like whoa! It was trance music. I listened to it the whole flight.I was just wondering if anyone else has ever heard that station before while on a plane. And if so, what is it...is it just for airplanes?Hmmm...

thats cool...what airline was it? did they play generic no name trance or was it songs you could actually recognize?

Delta Airlines has an electronic radio station that not only plays singles, but also exclusive DJ mixes. I remember hearing a D:FUSE cd on a flight I took once.

I'd be delighted listening to Party93.1 or ID & T while flying :toothless

But I guess that not what you guys are talking about, so I'll just keep this post, hehe

When I was flying to NYC(United airlines I think) I know they played a grip of songs that wouldnt be all that out of place in a pvd or tiesto set from a few months earlier. The tunes were hot, but not quite as upfront as an id&t or whatever.

A Dutch airline (I think it was Martinair or Transavia) has ID&T Radio as one of their in-flight music channels.
