Not sure how many of you are into artwork, but if you are you must check out this page.

This specific page deals with what are called "quilts". Each quilt is X many tiles high and X many wide. Each tile is created by a different artist, and when all are complete they are joined together to form a big picture. Seeing as how the artists have no idea what the others' look like (although each quilt has a theme), the final pictures are all surreal.
This group has been around for many years and was around back when I was BBSing with the good 'ol 2400 modem, so to me (at least) it's very interesting to see how far they've come. Check out the main page too - www.ice.org

Yeah I used to be involved in that scene...
I went way back when we were drawing ANSI graphics for the BBSes. Being in toronto, alot of the scenesters here were with Dark illustrated (www.darkillustrated.org). I was in plain, later reborn as eCHO.
I ran a BBS too. :D those were the days. |

| I used to draw ansi as well, then I ed around with RIP, and that was about it. I was in a group called shiver. Acid.org still has the packs on their website, and I found some old ansi's of mine from 1996. 1996!!!@@ That was some cool because I thought I'd lost them for good. peace |
