What are your toughts on repetitive trance?

Which artists piss you off the most because it just seems like the same sample OVER and OVER and OVER again?

A good example is Josh Wink - are you there? or, Don't laugh.

I like most of Josh Winks stuff, but those two have always bothered me.

i dont think that Wink is 'trance'

besides hes more of a ripoff artists from what ive heard|
Delay Llama
:conf:

but looping is the essence of electronic dance music... you can complain when you don't like a specific tune, but when you say that you don't like repetitive trance, this is like saying you only like carbonated water if it comes without carbonation ;)

Try listening to

Chemistry - We Are One

and then

Chemistry - Desire

It's just ridiculous. They start off exactly the same, same bassline, same main synth. Plain stupid.

Then again I these are the only Chemistry tracks I know so I can't be 100% sure whether they always recycle the same samples...

Anybody ever heard the Porn Kings? they arent really trance but jeez, it's like they made 2 songs and remixed them over and over and over again. The sad part is that i have their CD.:D

I only heard a track porn kings - c'mon. The vox are kinda stupid and it's very old('97 or something), but the clubsound is kinda catchy.
Galapidate
I think New Order - Confusion definitely falls under this category :D

yeah, the porn kings is another good example. I cant remember what song it was, but it was catchy back in the day.

Alot of Starchasers song start out the same way and sound the same way. Don't know if it could be considered repetetive though. I still love there songs.
