token appearance, my ass...I showed up early, 10:30-ish, intending to stay for an hour or so, being pretty burnt out from Max the night before...but the opening DJ was really good and totally got me in the mood to stay....the Depeche Mode remix had everyone smiling :p Great set...I'd have been happy if he spun the whole night :cool:
Turnout was ok...I thought there would be more...Mockingbird is such a cool space for a party, I love it. Excellent night all around...never thought I'd have such a good time at a techno party! ;) |

I had SO MUCH FUN last night.
It wasn't crowded, but I wasn't there for the crowd, I was there for Dave and Phil and they had me shakin it for 2 straight hours! Played some classic tracks, which I can't remember now, but daaaaamn, that was just what I needed. Perfect temperature, lots of room to dance, nice crisp sound, drinks were a little pricey but oh well.
a 4 deck battle must be ridiculously difficult to pull off. Props to Dave and Phil and the organziers, who provided me with some solid techno last night.
