Its funny that Ive always wanted to check this movie out, but never got a chance to until recently. I dont usually enjoy Horror flicks but this one deserves a mention. One of the few classic horror films that stand out.
Sissy Spacek put on a great performance in the 1976 version. Stevan King wrote a great story here and Brian De Palma did a good job of bringing it to life.
Ive checked out all 3 of the carrie movies.
Best ones if you havent seen them yet are the first 1976 version and then the 2002 tv remake. The liked the TV remake its just that more time couldve been put into the production.
The Rage: Carrie 2 was just horrid. I dont think that script shouldve ever been allowed to be made into a new movie. It was more of a "made for teenagers" flick. Those who have seen it will understand what I mean.
Anyone else seen this? What did you think?

| Carrie is excellent, carrie 2 was ...so lame! the girl out of american beauty jumping to her death? whats that all about, she was the only star in it! ? didnt see the tv version of carrie though...but it'll prob be on sky as are all the stephen king tv remakes...will look out for it!xx |

| maybe because carrie is based on the S.Kin g book, while carrie 2 isn't based in any book :p |

You should see it so that you know how someone can take a great movie and turn into such a bad one.
