I have my hands full as it is...

...and btw, if you think "anything" on the internet is private you'll get a reality check one day when someone does a cut/paste in the wrong window and/or replies to an email and accidently CCs you on it

Passwords have been hash encrypted for at least the past 2 years

i haven't really looked at the source code, but I'm pretty sure that a hack exists somewhere for this :p

Look up the way a hash works and you'll see there is no way to 'decrypt' - only a way to 're-encrypt' and hope for a successful match

This is why 'dictionary words' are not recommended passwords due to the brute force method of 'cracking' them mentioned above.

Hell yea, I would. Too sneaky sneaky. :o

A simple dictionary attack can most likely crack the encryption on any password composed of words or a series of words, and if you know where to look it's not hard at all to find a utility that will do it for you.

Alphanumeric passwords can be cracked fairly easily as well, but the algorithms to do so require a lot more overhead, and utilities to perform them are not widely available.

Best Wishes,

Arbiter

Remember the three most common passwords? :D

beleive it or not, some people actually use 'password' as the password :p
