thats right!
i get to start this thread because i'm the first one home, well, maybe graham was, but i'm the first one who can post abou it
drunk as heck right now and proud to say i was at TAi5. great night. say Aaron Mossey & Matt from what i recall,
Aaron - it was teh needles man, you were allright
Matt - amazing set buddy. picotto to max garham, cmon it was incredible!!
ncie to meet all TA's i havent' met before and a fine 'hello' to all regulars, u know who you are.
had a good time hanging out with you all tonite, your all very special people and rweally m,ake the night worth the drive, well i didnt ddrive, but, it was worth my dirver drivingme
guys, i gave up a polka dance for you... dam,n i was gunna review it too , and post pics
there will be more polka dances

oh yeah, max graham was ijn insane - he played timo maas when maas was boss!!!
and arouind 2 am, he started spiinin some hard , me and mr/ rogers talked to him b4 ad he told us he'd play soime techno aroudn 2 am, he was good on his worgdd

swamper, nice catchingup wit ya./ nat. mirza (who didnt make it in). emery. john. liam, maragaret, tara (happy b-day to us), sarah, maxtuh, pixiechick, lil kandi angel, joasia, peter (eso), altermixndz, & jeff (my neighbour) from dundas, halo20, trancekitten & dallas right at cotchek. and eveybody else i mised. dorry. need a pen next time.
and i'd liek to thank the bartender in the VIP room for quick service. you probably dont have the internet, but your the best.

excellent night...Aaron started it off well in the VIP room...and Max was great and looked like he was having fun. I'm a *wee* bit drunk...apologies to anyone I chatted to in my not-so-sober state, lol...torontobarfly, tatgirl...etc. I think I was in line right in front of Sarah too...but I wasn't sure, so I didn't say hi :o
Btw, where did that setup come from? DJ at the opposite end? interesting...seemed to work well enough.
I trust everyone had a good night...still pretty full when I left sometime after 5...time to sleep...17 hours until Technopolis :D |

What a great night! Got there at 10:10, was a little concerned about the guest list situation but then Craig, my front of line informant, told me they were late opening up...all was well by 10:40 when we were inside.
Aaron was playing some progressive when we got in, but by about 11:20, the pace had picked up, there was a hint of tribal, and I got dancin. Whatever the sound issue was, Aaron didn't let it phase him and kept his together. Excellent stuff.
Matt was doing a great job when I left - I would have liked to stick around for the techno promised by Tara but being up since before 6am or work wasn't cuttin it so I left to catch the subway.
Although we have a wealth of talent on this board, the thing about these Invasion events is really the people - everytime I go to a TA event, I say to whomever came with me "they are a great group of people."
And hoorah for meeting some more new peeps tonight - SOHANNES finally!, Mr Rogers (will give the CD a listen today), Durafei, Corrine's new friend, Schryer and Jenna, I know there were more but it's early and I'm still working on coffee #1 so forgive me.
Excellent work John and Emery...you guys got this goin on. :)
PS. I wandered into the main room for a bit....I really, really don't understand progressive music. :conf: (no offense meant here, of course)

It was really nice to see some familiar TA faces..
John, muff2k, dallasstar, LKD, Skipper, Torontobarfly, djeso (why weren't you spinning last night?), it was nice to meet you Tara,etc...
To to the TA dj's I heard a bit of last night (Matt Vagrant & 24_7).. Wow! You two were fantastic!! I also have more then one photo of you each from last night. Please email me.
