Unfortunately in my neck of the woods it's just
Paul Van Dyk, Sasha, Steve Lawler, Danny Rampling, Agnelli & Nelson Chicane (dunno if their in the top 100 though...) nonetheless they all had stunning performances...
One experience I had was when Danny Howells spun in this club just two months ago.. We were right in front of the guy and we hand a glass of absinth, he chugs the damn drink down and almost stumbles upon the turntable... He asked what we gave him, and I showed him the bottle, he goes... "'n crazy filipinos!" hahaha He really knows how to relate and reach out to the crowd... :disbelief :disbelief :disbelief |

when pvd was in athens you didnt listen to trance and u have told me that u didnt like him..your exact words were "i cant stand pvd" but you did jump on the bandwagon after last july
in oakenfold u werent there because me and george would know it and in armin u didnt go because kidcosmo would have gone as well...
you told me yourself that ur first event was tiesto last february so stop trying to impress people over the internet

'twas a live performance... I've never seen anything like it.
I could recall the ampitheatre being packed with people lining up at the doors 3 hours before the performance. That was 2 years ago... December of 2001, n'n amazing... We were expecting a guy hitting the decks instead there was this girl singing, a guy playing a guitar, some guy tinkering this electronic synthesizer of some sort. Man, was it an experience... Especially when they played saltwater and Halcyon. Chicane's pretty much the shiznit here in the Philippines.. The fanbase here refer to Chicane with as much reverence as Pvd and Tiesto. When you ask people around here if they listen to dance music or electronica, Chicane would be one of the first answers you'll get..
Wish some of the other Dj's would visit our humble country though..

Dave, I know you post here in TA too.. I'd give a 'n limb just to see ya guys visit! If ever you do an Asian tour, don't ever hesitate to put Manila on your agenda.. YOU WON'T GET DISSAPOINTED!
