interesting...while reading this thread, I was thinking the same thing.
I commented on the set earlier...I'm hardly a techno authority, but I like most of the tracks (and *love* a few of them). Honestly, being that I prefer trance and prog, I don't think I'd go crazy over a whole night of it in a club environment.
The wide range in style of the tracks might sound less like "poor flow" for Mrs. Spice in a longer set with more time available to move between styles, perhaps? There are some pretty radically different tracks back to back in some parts (although I personally don't think that's necessarily a *bad* thing). |

I'm not going to run off my resume for you, but I will say that you misunderstand my intentions, among other things. DJing is a hobby for me - one that began a little over a year ago. I play what I enjoy, and if other people enjoy it too (which they seem to), then that's great. I'm happy to share it with them.
So don't assume you're doing me a favor here, by helping me to realize that my track selection is what is standing in the way of my full time DJ career. I have a degree and a full time career as it is.
Not everyone is out to be superstar attention whores, you know. |
Why are you being so rude? If someone posts their set online then they should expect comments that are positive and negative. I'm telling you what myself and a couple of others who heard your set think. You do have talent Sarah, so good luck with your DJing career. |

Why are you calling me PP? I guess you're thinking that I'm someone else. Did they critisize you to? I was just trying to help you out because I think you're talented and could go far with the right kind of music. My boyfriend just got signed and I think I can say that I helped him a lot. I can't beatmatch to hell but I can hear what's going on and what should be going on since I've been listening to this kind of music basically forever. |
