I freakin HATE Old Navy commercials

Man ive had enough of their already!!! All the cheesy people, music, and .....now "The Nanny" is in all of them?!! Sorry for my outburst of rage....im at home sick as hell and very annoyed at the moment. :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

I knew I wasn't the only one who absolutely hates those commercials...I actually get angry when I see them :mad: :stongue:
But...it's successful marketing for them...normally I'd never think or talk about Old Navy...because I hate the store just slightly less than I hate their commercials...but these are unforgetable because they're just so damn nauseating.
I would love to meet the people behind the commercials though...so I could beat the out of each one of them for subjecting me to those ads :p |

oh god, this reminds of probably THE tiest commercials ever, and ive hated them with a passion ever since i saw them 7+ years ago...Leons....damn those bastards, i seriously would give anything to be let loose in their studio with a baseball bat :whip: :whip: |

THAT was the worst one ever. I had to mute the sound every time it came on because I just couldn't take it.
It may be publicity for them, but negative publicity isn't always better than no publicity. I actually went there a couple of times (didn't see much I liked, but that's besides the point) before the ads started, but now I'll never go back. |

oh god...I hate those too!!!!! "loving" what??? You couldn't pay me to eat that crap. Vice Mag had the best reply to their old campaign that the writer found sickening. It was something like "There's a little McDonalds in everyone...that's nice... you!".

At first glance, I'd agree with you...but then I remind myself that a huge chunk of the population, especially south of the border, is made up of...well...people that don't see things the same way we do (my diplomatic way of refering to them as "sheep", lol)...people that see crap like those ads and actually think they're clever and cute...the same people that think Bob Saget was funny and that America's Funniest Home Videos was hillarious :rolleyes: |
