Yeah I know, this is a very taboo subject, but.. as a fellow raver, I know all about drugs, and there's one of course, we all know and love - ecstasy.
Basicaly, the question for everyone is - have you fallen in love while on E?
What was your first experience like?
Why do you NOT do it?
Why do you do it?

I think that if you have ever experienced "falling in love" while under the influence of any substance, especially MDMA, it would be entirely misleading.
Allowing oneself to open up to somebody is one thing, but thinking that you fall in love with them just because you are on such a euphoric high from the drug is a BIG mistake.
I enjoy substances as much as the next guy, but you've gotta keep things in perspective.

hmm .. i wouldn't say it was possible to fall in love but i did get to know more about someone which in turn led to us being closer and so on and so on. et cetera et cetera.

And actualy, in accordance to love .. I did a lot of ecstasy at an event, there was a girl I brought there, we had a moment, and I still feel the same way about her that I did in that very moment, long time after about that person... it's almost scary. :nervous:
There's one thing special about being at a rave, or a big event with everyone on the same drug - most people put away racism, hate, and disrespect towards each other, it's almost as though everyone there is your friend, and you really dont have to worry about anything except the music. It's a beautiful thing, really. I think that's one of the main reason behind me taking the drug. I would much rather be in a big, sweaty building full of drug addicts, than be in a bar with 5 drunk people. ;) |

anyways. i know what mean. you just feel alot more comfortable talking to that particular person and such. you could grow to love someone that way too.
notice that all drunks do is fight and make loads of noise. potheads sit around and think up crap.
e users either dance, be merry or sit around having heart to heart talks.
well i tripped out with this chick over the weekend and we ended up chilling at the beach for 5 hours instead of partying at a club.
enjoyed it too. |

chilling at the beach for 5 hours while on E, that would be really good, unfortunatly there's nowhere around here to do that sort of thing.
Now, is there something to rebuild serotonin levels in the brain? I heard of http://www.5htp.com/ this .. not sure how well it does. I am severely e-tarded for several days after each session, I usualy just take about 5 tabs in one night, once a month or so.
Has anyone felt long term effects? I know I have them, but I was wondering if i'm going to be having this problem the rest of my life, or if the serotonin and neurotransmiters are going to heal/regrow themselves over time. |

Falling in love while on drugs?? That's the wierdest concept I've heard in a while. I suppose it could happen, I imagine it would be a bit 'different' somehow, but then, I wouldn't know.

yes indeed
i went to a party one night and met this girl, and fell madly inlove with her over the spoace of about 2 hours. couldn't stop thinkin about her for the following week, met her out one night while i was also ed on pills and ended up kissing her.
was in brilliant, but i'm thinkin maybe just maybe the pills had a bit to do with how attached i became to her so suddenly.
dunno, but the first night i met her i was goin out with a girl, who's amazing. we were near the end, and we actually finished a few days later, but i kinna wanted to finish as i wanted to meet this new gal..
wish i'd thought it through a bit more though..
