Wow, quite a night!
I didn't know that Rap played techno and house. I thought she was primarily a drum n' bass DJ. Anyhow, her set worked great as an opener for Ferry.
Here's what I remember from Ferry's set, in rough order (I'll edit if anything else comes to mind):
Boss@nova - Stone Cold
ID
BBE - Seven Days & One Week (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Ferry Costen feat. The Thrillseekers - Sublime
Underworld - Born Slippy Nuxx (Oakenfold Mix)
Ferry Corsten - Right of Way
Ferry Corsten - Punk
Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock
Ferry Corsten - Sweet Sorrow
Afterburn - Wintersun
Plastic Boy - Silverbath
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Armin van Buuren's Universal Religion Mix)
System F feat. Armin - Exhale
Encore: William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
I wanted to hear Traffic or Sosei, too. Ah well. |

I remember Ferry played... Rock Your Body right after Punk.
Does anyone know the name to the first vocal track he played? It was some guy singing in something "come to me," or something like that... The track was kinda hard...
DJ Rap played...
Satisfaction - Benny Benassi
Dooms Day - Acido Da Bass
I also remember she played a song that had spanish lyrics that say "vamos a la discoteca." or something like that. She played a subliminal records and lots of breaks towards the middle. She kinda did like a Bad Boy Bill / Humpty Vission set.... It was good.
It was a good night had lots of fun....
It was nice meeting MARIBEL and DOUG....
Good way to end the weekend....

Yeah, Satisfaction was such a surprise! :p But somehow it really worked with the crowd.
Azzido Da Bass - Dooms Night (Timo Maas Remix)...I was trying to think of what that was

Last night was a blast!
Random comments and babbling:
Dj Woody - Dude, how the heck did you see Maribel's earing on the floor?!?! You must have Superman eyes or something.
Soltri - I saw you trying to hook up with that blonde girl. Good eye as well.
Bondor - As if you weren't addicted to trance already, I KNOW you are addicted NOW!!!
sExY pErSiAn - Nice to finally meet the topic of the longest thread ever on the Spundae board ;)
Tranceaholic, djr-man, dj-tranz cool to see you guys again.
Maribel it was cool meeting your sister even though that guy was trying to pick up on her all night and was pissing you off :whip:
To all you guys and girls I met and didn't get to meet at the meetup, I'm sure we'll see each other at the next event. One day I'll get all your names straight.
That guy who had a test at 8am, hope you passed . . . or at least stayed up long enough to take it :nervous:
Lastly, you have to give it up for MARIBEL!
* insert loud cheering and clapping here *
For getting not only FERRY to come to the meetup, BUT also DJ RAP and DJ Irene!!!
3 DJs at our "little" meetup was just way too cool! Soltri, make your friend who made you late feel guilty about not making it to the meet up and meeting DJ Rap. Like DJ Woody said she's HOT, got that KILLER accent and was a GREAT dancer during Ferry's set. Rawk on!
The only bad thing about the night was that it ended WAY too early! The O.C. :(
Until the next time,
Doug |
