The best transition I've heard is one that I did myself (obviously! :p) that involved
Holden and Thompson - Nothing (Hiver and Hammer Remix)
into
VNV Nation - Beloved (Hiver and Hammer Remix)
The tunes go together beautifully, but it's fairly hard to mix them because of the four-beat silence in 'Nothing' towards the end. When you get it right though, it sounds fantastic.
