I don't get it ... the guy's been dead for 7 or 8 years and he's come out with more (cd's, movies, awards, etc.) than he ever did when he was alive. What the hell is going on??? |
He and Elvis cut a new record. |

How can a man who managed to create 300 tracks have put any effort at all into any of them??
:conf: |
He didn't, that's why most of the stuff that has been coming out after his death has been woeful e, cynically aimed at his loyal fan brigade to milk them for as much cash as possible. Not a patch on the stuff he did while he was alive IMO anyway. I mean who the samples Mr. Mister - Broken Wings anyway?!?!?!:whip: |

Yea exactly. Theres a reason why Tupac didnt want certain songs released, its cause he thinks they dont live up to his standards.
The record company is making huge success and profits from these records. |

and if each of his songs were not talented he wouldnt have been ranked 4th in the worlds all time greatest writers right next to william shakespeare |
Not that I rank Shakespeare particularly highly, but who the hell compared Tupac to him?? Ranked 4th?? By whom??

i can understand you not knowing a thing about tupac...but for a rapper like tupac...i think its pretty damn good when top schools like Harvard and UC Berkely have CLASSES and COURSES designed to study his poetry, his lyrics to his music, his life, etc...how many musicians today do you know that have had that same cultural impact that tupac had |

I don't think Tupac holds a candle to writers like Mary Shelley, Conrad, Homer, or even Shakespeare.
But, how can you rank the world's greatest writers? |

I'm sick of all these 2Pac covers and LPs and movies coming out w/ his name all over it. Its a sick desparate attempt for those w/o talent to cash in off of his talent. Now we have Eminem, Ja Rule, and 50 Cent talking about how 2Pac was and this and that! |
2Pac's mom produced the movie I believe, plus the story is told in HIS words. Desparate attempt to cash in? I think not. As for Eminem & such talking about how great he was, why shouldn't they? They admired him, much as we admire people like Tiesto, PvD, etc. |

I didn't care when Tupac went offline, just like I didn't care about Osama or Saddam. Tupac was never into Trance, I never liked his music and I never gave a damn about him as a human being. He was never more than a piece of ghetto trash. :whip:
