Can someone give me advice about djing

i am interested in starting to spin, but im not sure what i exactly need to get going. Can someone tell me exactly what equipment i will require besides turntables and a mixer?

are you new too?:happy2: im so new...and i think i cant help it but to try to be a dj..well atleast u have the mixer and the turntable! i dont have anything besides my electronic keyboard to help the basic sound of it....no drums / beat behind...so it's pretty undone...:tongue2 |

| i suggest trying out a friends turntables before u blow ur money and find out ur not good, or that it isnt realy what u thought it was. |

Don't listen to the bloke above! If you're the first time you have a go on turntables it's nothing surprising. It needs practice!  |

but it is true about not buying tables if you're not sure its what u want to do. they are expensive. see if you got a friend who has some and vinyl he could care less about for u to practice a few times and find out if its something u really would enjoy. |
