| This was one of the first sets I ever got when I got into trance about 6 months ago, and I still listen to it regularly. This is a great set imo. Anybody else heard it/agree with me. If you were there post what it was like. |

I agree, this is my favorite set that Tiesto has made.
I used to listen to the set like 5 times a day, still do sometimes. |

This was NOT Trance Energy….
but instead a special party held by ID&T for the millenium new year’s eve called Energy 2000 |

Binnen zes maanden volgt een tweede succesvolle editie in de Statenhal Den Haag waarna op 31 December Oud & Nieuw in Eindhoven met Trance Energy gevierd wordt. Het derde millenium wordt ingeluid onder de noemer 'Energy 2000'. Trance Energy gaat volgens de traditie volledig uitverkockt in de daarop volgende vierde aflevering.

The history of trance energy counts 8 editions starting back in 1999. In an event hall(called the Beurgebouw) in Eindhoven dj's like Marco V, Yves de Ruyter, Jean, Tiesto and 8000 party people were witnessing the launch of a new phenomena called Trance energy on the night of the 29 of april.
Within six months the next succesful edition was held in The statenhal(event hall), The Hague. After this NYE and the change of millenium was combined with Trance energy. The next millenium was introduced with a party called "Energy 2000". The next edition(the 4th) was sold out just like tradition.

I used to have the flyer also...it was more a booklet then a flyer but i had it...and it said VERY BIG on it ENERGY 2000...not TRance Energy/.
