| Matt Darey played at a local club here in perth called the 'rise' ac ouple of months ago i didnt manage to go (need a fake ID ARGH!) but i heard it was awsome, also that blue - blue skies song i KNOW that was the alias to another song i heard somewhere recently i remember looking at tracklistings or something and remember seeing a pretty famous song and it had aka blue - blue skies so i think thats a biggy under a differant name? any ideas? im almost 99% sure it was this... |

Yeah, I went to Bad Boy Bill. It rocked. That guy has skill. Sure I like Matts Music better, but the entire lineup @ Bad Boy Bill was much better. I had a blast @ Bad Boy Bill. Needless to say, he played a Hard House set(what I like next to Trance) and was crazy. Ive never ever ever seen any DJ work that hard. NEVER stopped moving
But Matt Darey was here. Bad move on promoters part to hold them on the same night. There are only so many people of age who can come to these things! |

Needless to say, this tune is like from 99, but is very good indeed, if you look at livesets from all the other DJ's around that time,its most likely that tis tune was not played by them . So if I were you, id play it. |

he dont do just digital mixin.. the first ibiza euphoria (and the best uphoria cd eva) was done normally... there isnt of his tunes/rmx's that i dont love and i just need to see his name on a tune soon... whoever sed he did a lot for the year of trance was 100% spot on, the mash-up nights in ibiza were legendary... i mean.. he even made atb - 9pm a in rockin tune!

Spin it! Spin it! Who cares if its a bit old, i think its one of the best remixes ever. If you hear the original version of this song then hear Matt Dareys remix you will understand what i mean, the are two vastly different songs. I know if i was in the crowd and i heard this song i would go crazy! :) :) |

| I have a new promo from Matt Darey, it's called "Mash It Up". Anyway, I've found it hard to believe that this is Matt Darey, because the style is totally different from his past records! I liked his past productions, but if this is him, then he's turned into . Sorry to say this, but both of the mixes are bad. :( |

| I saw him spin live in Sydney a few months ago. Was a great set and afterwards he came down to the dance floor and danced a bit, I had a chat with him and he said he'd only been djing for a few months. Was pretty impressed if that was the case. |

That'd be Sunburst - Eyeball. It was originally released as Blue - Blue Skies a while back, but then got re-released as Sunburst - Eyeball more recently. Why? No idea.
Anyway, I think that Matt Darey's a really good producer, it's just that all his stuff ended up sounding too similar, so if this new track of his does sound a bit different it can only be a good thing. Erm, unless the track is crap like Antti said of course, in which case it probably ain't such a great thang. :( |
