having had decks for bout 4 months only im not good, so i fink Harry has the title without a doubt.
I'm ok on my own, but that coz i cant hear me, and i completely fuct up when i mixed for the 1st time infront of ppl (ppl being chris n gareth.) Too avoid their emabressmening me i'll regale the story. I missed a que (my 1st mix) and all went silent (in my defence i was pretty tipsy by this time and didnt know the tune i was mixing from), and then train wrecked the next out of nerves. I then refused to mix for the rest of the night and didnt so for a good few days. Although Chris Gareth, you got to admit my suggestion of Mental theme to Rollerball Albinoni was sweet.
I wont make it to sheffield, but ill borrow chris's mini disc player and record a set if you lot wanna hear what i'm like. Not good imo but tis a learning curve, and a fun one at that. |
