| Navid how do you know man? You haven't seen them. You're basing it on purely becuase you don't like their music.(which I don't get considering Armin has been blasting the out of their type of music, same with Tiesto.) So if you hate Gabriel and Dresden you hate what Tiesto drops. This is like me not liking happy hardcore and saying it will automatically be even though I am not into that style of music even thoughit still might be a good show. A good show is a good show regardless of whether or not you like the music.;) |

I know Armin and Tiesto has been playing G&D's tracks,and I think it really ruins the set I must say.plus Armin isnt my fav dj,but I dont mind him either.So just because Tiesto drops one bad song Iam not gonna hate the guy.;) about your happy hardcore example,I agree with you,but you see I DID listen to Prog beofore,and tried to like it and I just couldnt stand it,it is the most boring music I've ever heard,and thats just my opinion.:p |

| That's fine. But why pollute this thread with that? Gabriel and Dresden isn't even something that's considered prog. They're all over the place man. Plus this thread has nothing to do with Tiesto, it has to do with Gabriel and Dresden coming here so can you both please stop with all the Tiesto stuff? Yeah, so, anyway, G&D are one of those groups that kind of defy classification. It's really a mix of different genres, all modified a bit to flow together.
If they were doing some sort of Live PA, I'd be there in a second. I still want to go, just because it's G&D and I love their work, but then again, it's just a DJ set... and even if their mixing is improved, that's not what's so spectacular about them.
I don't know, tough decision. If it's the same price as a regular spin night, might be worth it. |
