| Well, are they? I ask because I recently got a Trackmaster II with an M3D I bought and I've spent the last hour and half trying to set it up. It skipped all over the place on my M3D but on my XL500 II, I got it to work but the sound was awful...I know what I'm doing as far as tonearm weigh adjustment, etc goes as I have two perfectly working AL500 IIs. Anyway, I need to know because I want to buy a replacement stylii as this looks like a pretty good cartridge, and I hear the Groovemasters have better sound... |

yeah, they are. i've done that myself. the groovemasters sound way better imho. alot more bass. they still jumped around on me so i replaced them with a set of shure m44g carts. the stantons would only jump on the first beat of the record when i was cueing it up. the problem my very well have my inexperience but the shure's dont jump at all, and i dont have to put nearly as much weight on them.
