Make sure you know your about the company, and especially about the position you're applying for. That way you have time in advance to think of questions and actually have something to say when they say "any questions?" Remember, this interview is about YOU trying to figure out if it's worth YOUR time to work for THEM. :p
Especially pay attention to their published values. If their corporate propaganda emphasizes things like "diversity", "continuous learning", etc., try to work those into your answers to them (i.e. if they ask you why you picked your university, say it's because of the diversity, or something).
Speaking from my own interviews, you should definitely prepare yourself for very common questions relating to your experience with:
1. Customer service, i.e.:
- Changing requirements/specifications
- How you deal with dissatisfied customers
2. Group leadership/teamwork, specifically:
- How you've acted to solve problems
- How you've dealt with difficult people
- Qualities you value in a manager
- What kind of group/project structure you prefer to work in
3. Time management and project planning:
- How you plan projects, estimate time, etc.
- How you prioritize
- What you do when there's not enough time
- What you do when the requirements aren't clear
And so on... I'll post more if I think of 'em.
When it's your turn to question them, make sure you find out everything you need to know. I practically got hired on the spot when I asked one company what kind of problems they were currently facing, and then launched into a proposal for how I could fix it all. |

if they end the interview and say, "off the record do you have any other questions?", DO NOT ask, "so where do people get their drugs around here?" -someone i know got asked this as an interviewer once.
but for real, exude confidence. make it look like you know your stuff and be excited to answer their questions completely, not just with short yes or no type answers. you want to make them think you are excited to work there and that you know their stuff.
you can do it david! |

wear a pink speedo.
Mention to them what you specifically will be adding to their workplace that sets you apart from the rest. If there isn't anything then point to the pink speedo. |

Don't cross your legs. Keep your hands on both sides of the chair, do not chew gum, always make eye contact, shake their hand, and always come with a resume and references.
And you should do fine. |

My advice would be to have a lot of questions ready to ask them. That's where I fell short on my last interview.
What kind of job is it and what education are you persuing? |
